Michail Lalov: "Stornik''

The style of the painting is both improvisational and decorative. The shapes of the figures are treated with a delicate linear drawing. To a large extent they are conditional and generalized. At the same time, in the lightly and freely painted faces and in the outlines of the bodies, features of sincerity and spontaneity are perceived in the treatment of the forms. They are inherent in naivety and children's drawings. The author seeks to influence the viewer trough a spontaneous and casual manner of painting. The atmosphere in the work is idyllic and fabulous.
