Vasil Stoev: ''Landscape''

The picture is painted with large generalized and conditional forms, through which the landscape motif, chosen by the artist, is interpreted not literally or documentary but as a complete emotional feeling. The conventional, for landscape plots, horizontal composition in this painting is disturbed by an original displacement of the spatial plans. They are not arranged according to traditional norms and laws of the linear perspective, but according to the achievement of certain tonal color combinations and general color effect.
