Vasil Stoev: "Winter''

A feeling for winter is achieved through frugal and laconic means of expression reduced to a number of lights and shades of expression of blue tones and to generalized forms, reproducing elements of nature and a house with a gabled roof. The author does not strive for fidelity to nature or to literalism in recreating the main elements of the landscape image, but tries to build a completely poetic vision of winter with moods, emotions and lyrical charge that connects this season with the worldviews and feelings of the viewer.
