Nikolai Yanakiev: "Waiting I"

The composition is composed of a diffuse space, which seems to selectively "illuminate" the free-floating fragments in different ways - sometimes prominent and intensely bright, sometimes seemingly sinking and losing their clear outlines and shapes. At first glance, it seems that the individual fragments are floating freely and chaotically in space. In fact, however, the artist manages to create a balanced and well-composed composition through skillfully balancing and selecting different tonal accents which, despite its complex internal structure has an overall impact.
