Nikolai Yanakiev: "Summer''

In this painting the artist uses one of his favorite techniques to create a certain emotional atmosphere of the image - a relatively even tone for the background and at the same time a complex mosaic configuration of small tonal spots that form irregular shapes containing significant associative potential. The viewer could liken them to something familiar according to his imagination. The main goal of the artist, as in a number of his other works, is to create a feeling that is untranslatable into verbal language.
