Nikolai Yanakiev: "Silence"

Against the background of a gentle gray tone, there are three asymmetrically arranged circles inscribed in a square, which form the central part of the composition. They contain relatively the most sonorous color combinations, as well. The rest of the canvas is filled with numerous small picturesque fragments, scattered as if by chance and balanced with each other on the principle of warm and cold tones (pink, blue-gray), which gives a certain awe and richness to the purely plastic implication.
