Valentin Savchev: "Fish" I

The work is a light, formed from openings construction with a freely curving linear spiral shape.

The plastic interpretation of the motif (the fish) is carried out with a specific approach which comes from nature, only as a starting point for building an autonomous work of art.

The sculptural image has a character of a generalized plastic sign.

The dynamic composition is a counterpoint to the statics of the metal form and overcomes the feeling of volume and mass, a specialty of this type of fine art. It provides the work with a more active participation of light and space in the overall impression.
