Valentin Savchev: "Covid 19-Civilization"

The work is a multifaceted architectonic construction built on the basis of various spatial combinations of stereometric elements, which keep traces of their original functional purpose. They have the characteristics of what in modern sculpture is called “objects trouvés”. The figure of a cockerel at the top simultaneously plays the role of a vane and, at the same time, it contains a symbolic meaning, which is fully revealed to the viewer after getting acquainted with the title of the work.
