Boyko Mitkov: "Contemplation"

In this art work, the sculptor uses one of his favorite techniques - a combination of figure and architectural element. In this case, the role of such an element is taken by the ∏-shaped stand which simultaneously balances the overall composition and, at the same time, serves as a support on which the figure of the man is located. The figurative interpretation is generalized, it has exquisitely sculpted streamlined forms, which seem to pour from top to bottom, following the laws of gravity. The main thing that the artist wanted to convey to the viewer is the special state of concentration, of immersion, of meditation.
