Boyko Mitkov "Memory''

At the heart of the image lies a mystery, an enigma. The combination between the massive monumental column or pillar, fragmented by the sculptor and the fragile figure of the man with his head slightly bent down is based on the principles of plastic contrast. Through these two main elements, which, as in others of author’s works have a heterogeneous character (figurative and architectural). The author has managed to achieve the most difficult in the art of sculpture - through matter to express the intangible (the memory).
