Boyko Mitkov: "From the cycle "Night City I"

A multi-figure composition composed of five unevenly spaced figures of men, closed in on themselves who communicate neither with each other nor with the viewer. Here, as in other of his works, the sculptor resorted to his favorite technique to combine figures with a distinct architectural element (in this case a stand, which plays the role of conditional terrain). The author has managed to convey the feeling of alienation and loneliness that often afflicts the inhabitants of large cities, especially at night.
