Boyko Mitkov ''From the cycle "Stored time IV"

The composition is inscribed in a rectangular shape, which includes an intricately processed metal surface creating, at first glance, the illusion that it is natural, untouched by human hands. In fact, the sculptor has finely and skillfully modeled the metal sheet in order to create a sense of the presence of special traces of time, sealed in solid matter as if forever. The figurative implication he seeks to achieve is to show that even metal is subject to relentless change and that "stored time" (the title of the work) is also, after all, an illusion.
