Boyko Mitkov ''From the cycle "Stored time VIII"

The work is constructed as a single irregular shape, reminiscent of a fragment of organic matter, intricately curved and with a variety of, in some places, precisely grooved and finely cut texture. The piece of metal, in itself, creates the impression of a fragment, unknown as to how it has come into our field of vision. The main focus is on both the silhouette and the treatment of the metal surface, which offers a great wealth of spatial gradations and combinations of convex and concave shapes.
